Germinal Seeds (NZ) Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Germinal Holdings Ltd, a global force in seed development and marketing.
After seeing the development and considerable success of High Sugar Grasses in the United Kingdom, Germinal Seeds NZ are focussed on promoting and implementing this "new" breed of grass into the New Zealand way of farming.
At present Germinal Seeds NZ is primarily marketing the IBERS developed AberHSG range of high sugar grasses. These varieties have been put under ongoing testing in New Zealand conditions and offer a real benefit to high performance dairy and livestock farmers especially, initiating higher milk yields, higher live weight gains, as well as offering substantial environmental benefits through improved nitrogen use.
